The days of the Gate Studio, formerly Whitehall Studio are finally over.

The studio buildings were demolished during 2006 to make way for housing. 

The site will continue to be valuable to the community as many houses have been built on it. This is a real asset as the use of 'brown' land in this way helps avoid desecration of our fast disappearing green countryside. 

It is noteworthy that much material - steel, brick and hardcore has been reclaimed. The studio will therefore continue life in new forms that are of benefit to future generations.
